Join The Lanterman Coalition as we launch "Keeping California’s Promise", a non-partisan candidate interview series focused on disability rights, the Lanterman Act, and California’s long-term commitment to the disability community
We are kicking off the series on Monday, January 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (PST) with Betty Yee, candidate for Governor and former California State Controller.

Hosted by the Lanterman Coalition, this statewide forum series asks every candidate the same questions about how they will protect and strengthen the promise of the Lanterman Act—a landmark civil rights law that guarantees services and supports for Californians with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
In the face of federal changes and growing uncertainty, candidates will be asked how they plan to preserve California’s commitment to disability rights, essential services, dignity, and inclusion.
Each live webinar includes a Q&A, with the opportunity for attendees to submit questions.
